autossh key copy not working

Hey y'all,

Trying to set up an autossh I've come up with the copy of the ssh to throw the following error:

expr:warning: '^ERROR: ': using '^' as the first character

 

And it never asks me for the password of the user (to which I guess the key is never copied, something that I verified by checking the server authorised keys.

 

Now, I've seen that many times when I update values in the configs in the turtle panel, when I go out and in again, there are added quotes to some values (single quotes).

Any tips?

Update: I manually copied the public key to the server (to authorized_keys) but it doesn't connect at all, all ports open... nothing.

And I keep getting those crazy single quote errors, like this one:
