Joe2525
I think it's time for me to start with the GSM stuff for example spying on phone calls or detecting the location of the caller. I mean we see these things in movies but when we come to real life is it possible?
digininja
Some stuff is possible, some stuff isn't and depending on your location, a lot of it is illegal. There is a lot of published work on weaknesses in things like S7 and GSM. Defcon 19 or 21 had a relatively famous talk on GSM hacking where they had a no mobile phones restriction round the talk area, search their archives and you should find that. It is old but will give you some ideas.

Bigbiz
Most gsm networks are on a wman (wireless metropolitian network). Here is your government networks like police (toughbooks galore), most cellular providers depending on your location whatever they are, and most likely if in a larger metro. area your local cctv.
