Bigbiz
Youd have to be connected to that network. Then you can do it. Kind of like picking up your tellephone and calling your bros. Edited July 2, 2018 by Bigbiz
The Power Company
You can find lots of cameras that are publicly on the internet through shodan.io
Rkiver
If you don't know how to connect to a targetted network and get the IP address of a device on it, than perhaps you shouldn't be trying to. I doubt you've permission to do it. Now what you could do, is setup a small web cam on a different network, or make a virtual network and test things that way? 1
IEatFood
You could ask the owners of the camera for access. 🙂 Edited June 7, 2019 by Noturaverage
74R8477
Only do such things for your own experience with the full consent of the owner plus the full consent of the camera company. Depends on who your target is. Remote targets Random --> shodan.io Specific --> need to know their IP plus a vulnerability on their network Local targets Access their network --> Scan for the cam Deauth their cam and MITM it Like @RKiver said before, if you don't know what to tools to use then you shouldn't even try. To some extent I disagree with comments such as: "...if you don't know what tools to use then you shouldn't even try." One will never learn what tools to use or how to do it properly unless one gets their hands dirty just doing it. We learn from mistakes. However, that being said, since one may be new at this, and not know exactly how to do it safely and properly, one should set up a safe sandbox environment/lab to practice said skills.
