fabltd
Hi I am trying to use a Edimax Technology Co., Ltd EW-7811Un 802.11n Wireless Adapter [Realtek RTL8188CUS] This either crashes the pineapple or won't scan for networks. Is there any reason this device is not supported? Thanks JT

b0N3z
drivers might not be on the nano to save space on the device itself and keep the firmware small because there is very little space
bashM0nk3y
Do you know which kernel module you need for that NIC? Whats the output of ' lspci -k '? For example on my system, which btw is not a pineapple just a normal linux box.. user@host:~$ lspci -k ... ... 04:00.0 Network controller: Intel Corporation Wireless 8260 (rev 3a) Subsystem: Intel Corporation Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260 Kernel driver in use: iwlwifi Kernel modules: iwlwifi ... ... b0N3z
you could figure out what driver that uses [Realtek RTL8188CUS] for openwrt and just do a $opkg update and then $opkg install yourdriver.

Small issue it’s a Nano ? Dont think it’s a power issue as I can power a more juice alpha.
