Looking to buy a Pineapple Mark IV

I need a Pineapple Mark IV to replace one that I lost.  I'm not too worried about antennas but I'll need the USB cord.

have a look on the google machine for an Alfa AP121U then just flash  it with pineapple firmware there some vids on youtube with instructions on how to flash it, if you dont mind all that effort

The Alpha AP121U I bought and attempted to flash won't accept the Pineapple firmware as it stands.  I do not get the bootmenu option and the menu settings are not the same as any tutorial I've found.  I don't know Linux well enough to continue with this.

It seems I need an Alpha R36

which guide are you following to flash the Alfa AP121U  and do you have the factory flles( eg kernel.bin and rootfs.bin) because the link( https://cloud.wifipineapple.com/index.php?downloads) to them gives 404 -File not found if you do have the above follow the method in these two videos

The one I bought won't work for this and the USB is for storage only.  Seems like I have a portable router, that's all.
