Lan Turtle 3G traffic via 3G

I have established an internet connection via 3G with my Lan Turtle 3G. I would like all the traffic from my laptop to run over this connection. How can I achieve this?  I've already played with iptables but I haven't succeeded yet. Does anyone have a tip on how to get on with it?

This is what I have tried to do:

echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward
iptables -A FORWARD -i eth0 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A FORWARD -o eth0 -j ACCEPT
iptables -t wet -A POSTROUTION -o 3g-3gwan -j MASQUERADE

After I have logged in via SSH it is possible from the menu to update the Lan Turtle over the 3g connection. Even without network cable I can, for example, ping to Google dns (8.8.8.8). So I know that my 3G module is working. To making it work, it was necessary to remove the PIN code from the SIM card. Entering the code in the lan turtle did not work.

I inserted a 3G sim card. Put in the correct APN settings. All it does is get hot.

I know the APN settings are correct because it works (on my laptop) in a USB dongle with same sim card and APN settings.

Anyone with some trouble shooting guidance?

Thanks
