EdwardHunt
Hi, I was looking at the pineapples and found the Nano and Tetra very interesting but on the Hak5 store description, they don't really compare the too together. I'd like to know especially if the size of the Tetra is worth it if it has a lot of extra range and power. I've also heard the Tetra needs a lot of batteries while the Nano doesn't. So what's worth to get between these 2 models in terms of range, power and stealth? Thanks

b0N3z
One this is the wrong section to post this topic, but the nano is 2.4ghz only while the tetra is 2.4 and 5ghz. The nano is more mobile while the tetra is bigger and not as easy to conceal. The tetra uses more power 18-24w or 5v4.8a which can be supplied via the usb-y cable and a battery with 2 5v2.4a usb ports. the nano uses 10.5w max or a 5v2.1a battery. It all depends on what you plan to do with it. The nano and battery fit just about anywhere your phone will fit while the tetra is going to need a bag. I have a small bookbag just for the tetra and battery with a couple other little nic nacs. the Tactical version of these 2 devices just gives you extra stuff with the pineapple like a battery and bag and the nano comes with 180usb for the battery and slimmer antenna that actually get a bit better reception. If you go nano id suggest getting the tactical as you get the battery and carry pouch and everything you need for it basically without having to look elsewhere for it. Zylla
They're both basicly identical, except for size, power, range, channels, and performance. One is smaller, and one is bigger and better. I can't explain it any more easily. :)
