Networking stuff on plane

Hi! I´ll be flying from Vienna to Italy next week and i want to know if I can carry this stuff with me, since I cannot find any information on TSA.

So, here´s the list:

Network switch (8 ports)
10 RJ-45 cat6 cables
crimping tool
RJ-45 connectors

If your switch is a multi-purpose switch with a flip out knife, pliers, file and tweezers then, no.

You are flying from Vienna, the capital of Austria, in Europe, to Italy, in Europe, and you are asking about the American TSA?

 

The TSA has no authority within Europe.

Depending on the tools, just make sure you have nothing bladed on your carry on luggage and you should be fine.

The only thing they may be concerned about is the crimping tool.

Then again, ethernet cables could potentially be used to strangle someone so there's that as well.
