White Lord
So I am picking up this bad boy today http://www.microcenter.com/product/474706/XPS_15_156_Gaming_Laptop_Computer_-_Silver and I am going to throw Ubuntu 16.04 on it. I am not interested in dual booting as I have been using Linux for years. However, now that Windows 10 doesn't come with physical CD keys anymore does anyone know a way to get the Windows 10 licence key extracted encase I want to throw windows back on it? Dead simple, grab and install Belarc System Adviser, save the file it generates. It has your key on there. Obviously double check it before hand to be 100% sure. https://www.belarc.com/products_belarc_advisor Tada!

hexophrenic
I believe the key is stored in the BIOS and is read when you install Windows 10, but I am not certain about that.
