Just_a_User Posted October 20, 2017 Posted October 20, 2017 I think your eth1 IP address isnt 172.16.42.42. The pineapples expect internet from that IP. Also, apparently if you stop the network-manager service then run the script it should work. I haven't tested this myself yet as im awaiting a fresh OS install before trying. If that does not work then try this
ewilk Posted October 24, 2017 Author Posted October 24, 2017 Thanks for pointing out the Host IP issue. I ran wp6.sh using advanced settings and entered the host IP manually and everything works great.
ewilk Posted October 24, 2017 Author Posted October 24, 2017 Oops. Spoke too soon. I can hit the internet through my browser, and I can hit the Pineapple, but still cannot get the Pineapple to hit the Internet... Network Manager is not running.
PoSHMagiC0de Posted October 24, 2017 Posted October 24, 2017 I run Parrot too but do not have issues with internet sharing. Through my wifi as well. I know Parrot had some DNS issues a while back. Still do if you update. Since you are able to browse the internet with Parrot, I assume you fixed them. Did you remove the DNS entries they add to the head and/or tail file? That got in the way of my local network browsing and maybe getting in the way of your Pineapple.
