Hey all,

story is, i plugged in nano, went to update, selected new firmware and hit go, then unplugged one of the USB's ....
Now nano will power up, go solid blue light for 4 seconds and that's it, after 4 seconds its "dead".

Tried the factory reset
"To perform a factory reset from a fully booted WiFi Pineapple, hold the RESET button for approximately 7 seconds. The device will then reboot. "

but nothing changes.

If i press and hold reset after during initial 4 seconds it just stays solid blue but there is no possibility to connect to it etc.

any help?

USB Ethernet Port

= a USB port that emulates an ethernet port. i.e. the one built into the nano. An adapter isn't required.

The difference between a normal boot up and a recovery boot is holding the button down while plugging it in.

Try not to mess up firmware recovery as thats pretty much your final chance to recover a bad flash, read the wiki a couple of times then give it a go.

Ask here for anything not listed in the wiki.

Good luck :)

Connect the host PC to the WiFi Pineapple via the USB Ethernet Port

NANO: The male USB A plug
TETRA: The Micro USB port labeled ETH

From the host PC, configure a static IP address on the WiFi Pineapple facing Ethernet interface to 192.168.1.2 with netmask 255.255.255.0
"

Ethernet interface facing pineapple.
You sure about not needing the eth-usb adapter?

The male USB on the WiFi Pineapple is the ethernet interface. It will enumerate as such on the host computer.
