Windows 10 password crack

This  is how I do it in my shop:

From windows 10 disk
Simply press SHIFT + F10 to open a command prompt at first install screen.
Make a backup of the file utilman.exe (Ease of Access) and then replace it with cmd.exe (Command Prompt), by running the following commands:
 
copy d:\windows\system32\utilman.exe d:\
copy /y d:\windows\system32\cmd.exe d:\windows\system32\utilman.exe

You can now add a new user account in Windows 10 so you can regain full access to your system.
Enter the following commands and replace {user_name} with the account name of your choice.

net user {user_name} /add
net localgroup administrators {user_name} /add

Restart into new admin account
Put CMD and UTILMAN back where they belong
Do your work, remove other user passwords, create a new account, etc..

OP, what is the most effective method to reset the password according to your test?

I use a method similar to Freecat's - the difference being I replace the sticky keys program (sethc.exe), then once you've booted to Windows on the local HDD you can just tap Shift 5 times and you've got an Administrator cmd. Create a user, or reset the password to the current one, and you're in.

Here is a step-by-step of how I would reset the password:

//using Kali, run main hard drive in terminal (right click on it and select "open in terminal"), then type:

cd Windows/System32/config

ls -l SAM*

chntpw -l SAM

chntpw -u <USER> SAM

//you are now able to change all passwords

But the smart user should always know this tricks so that he can hack the Windows account password in a minute. so without wasting time let's do it.

there are so many ways to hack windows password :

1) use Conboot to bypass windows password.

2) use cmd to change the user's password.

Safe mode is a simple and convenient method. I have used it and it works. You can reset the win 10 password without a disk in 4 steps. if data is important for you here is the tutorial for resetting windows 10 password this is an updated method if you you’re on updated version of windows 10 then replacing utilman.exe or sethc.exe won’t work because windows defender see them as dangerous and block them so you have to disable windows defender watch the tutorial and you’ll definitely crack your windows 10 password thanks me later. language is hindi but if you follow the steps you'll definitelycrack your windows 10 password

Firstly, you can try to get back into your Windows 10 by using a Microsoft live account. If you lost your live account password, you can recover it from: Microsoft Live website.

If you cannot log on Windows 10 for that you need the password for your local admin account, you can use a Windows 10 install disk to copy cmd.exe and rename it to utilman.exe, then open it from Windows 10 login screen. So you can unlock Windows 10 admin password by using command.

I don't know if it works for the latest upgrade,but about Windows 10 password crack,using a Windows 10 install disk to copy cmd.exe and rename it to utilman.exe,this seems not easy for those who are not experienced.

Wait, did you really just reply to a question you asked??

I meam, the purpose of JtR is to crack hashes. So you need the login hashes. You can't just "crack login with JtR" without having hashes.

This method is not my choice. If this problem makes me feel helpless, I would rather make a clean system safe, but if you do what Cikimi said, if you make a mistake, it will make the problem more troublesome.
