jHcPh4 Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Few years ago, Darren did a terminal demo for finding hidden SSIDs. I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know where it is? Quote

Does anyone know where it is? dont recall the video. But I use Kismet, lock it to the same channel as the hidden wifi then wait for kismet to sniff enough packets to come up with the probable SSID in network details view. Quote

Dave-ee Jones Posted August 23, 2017 Posted August 23, 2017 (edited) When you hide your SSID it means it isn't broadcasting a WiFi name, however you can still see the SSID's radio signals, and you can still read them. Edited August 23, 2017 by Dave-ee Jones Quote
