But I use Kismet, lock it to the same channel as the hidden wifi then wait for kismet to sniff enough packets to come up with the probable SSID in network details view. Dave-ee Jones Posted August 23, 2017 Share Posted August 23, 2017 (edited) When you hide your SSID it means it isn't broadcasting a WiFi name, however you can still see the SSID's radio signals, and you can still read them.
