Setting Up Pineapple Nano Tactical Elite with USB dongle

I just wanted to know if there is any documentation on setting up the Pineapple with the provided USB dongle that comes with the Tactical Elite. I have only been able to configure it with the provided Y-USB cable. I am attempting to configure with the battery pack and dongle provided. Thank you in advance for your help.

the provide dongle is for a 3rd wlan radio to connect to another wifi like your home, so the pineapple has internet connection.  with the battery pack you have two options.  browse to the ip the router gives your pineapple with the wifi usb dongle, or make sure the Management AP is setup and connect to it with your phone or something,  you can do the second without internet connection to the pineapple.

Thank you for clarifying. I have attempted to setup the Managment AP, but cannot access it with the battery pack.

connect to the AP you setup with your phone after the pineapple powers up.  it might take a min or so.  navigate to the 172.16.42.1:1471

Thank you! I think I was able to complete the setup. Initially, I had to utilized the USB cable to connect to the battery pack. Just another question, to connect to my network I would need to go to networking and add my router in the WiFi Client mode, right?
