Nicolay Nicolavich
hey guys. Sorry for this noob question but taking into consideration that this community is great, ill ask it anyways. What is the difference between open AP and management AP in the wifi pineapple´s? I acquired one today, nonetheless, there are some areas I don't understand. digip
I don't own one, but I'm going to say open means anyone connects, managed is setup with something like WPA2 password protection for you only to administrate the device. Start with the wiki - https://wifipineapple.github.io/wifipineapple-wiki/#!api.md and then work into the Pineapple forums - https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/forum/64-wifi-pineapple-jasager/ for questions you need help with. Cheers

Cheers Yes, the OpenAP is open to all and the Management AP for you to control the device. Also the very first post in this thread talks about not posting wifi pineapple questions on the Questions thread. For any questions on the pineapple go to the Wifi Pineapple Section of the Forums for more or better help.
