Kali > Parallels > unable to connect to 172.16.42.1:1471

Thanks for any help on this.

I'm in Kali using Paralells.

My box sees the Pineapple, but when I got to  172.16.42.1:1471 it won't load.

I'm seeing this in terminal:

I should add that I was able to connect using my Mac. I updated to the most current firmware.

I've also tried doing a reset by holding the reset button 10 seconds or so.

how are you powering the nano? and did you setup parallel tools installer on kali?

Right now it's over usb. I have an Elite so the next step would be the power pack and connected through the usb/wifi dongle. 

 

I don't have Parallel tools on Kali yet. Sounds like I should.
