BB housekeeping

thanks for all the contributions to the payload pool. I messed around with some of them on the BB for a while and tried to make sense of what is working and what not until nothing seemed to work at all. Found  that /var/log accumulated syslog and deamon.log files that exhausted the space on the root partition. nullified them and recovered 25% of space of the partition, which kind of explains my and possibly other peoples problems in this area.

Maybe someone with better skills than mine could implement a more permanent solution to garbage collection on the BB?

Until then keep an eye on the df output and trim your log files as needed.
