SomeoneE1se Posted December 9, 2006 Share Posted December 9, 2006 Did you plug it in correctly? did you un-mute it? there are so many other questions you said the mic dosen't work, you never said what you are tyring to do some recording software requires you to set the right input, as well as to hear your voice in XP you have to unmute the mic..... Did you plug it in correctly? yes did you un-mute it? yes , it wasent muted in the 1st place but yes i checked there are so many other questions you said the mic dosen't work, you never said what you are tyring to do some recording software requires you to set the right input, as well as to hear your voice in XP you have to unmute the mic..... it is not a problem of a specific software package , i tried multiple recording packages , the standard windows sound recorder , ventrillo doesn't work, ingame it doesn't work , .... Some mics won't work on some machines for some reason, I have a mic that refuses to work on this computer, I have to run it through a mixer first...
