acdbrn Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Just a quick question can the Nano find both 2.4 and 5.0 routers?
bored369 Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 Nano only does 2.4ghz unless you use a usb adapter that supports 5ghz. The tetra does both 2.4g and 5 ghz with it's internal cards.
b0N3z Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Ive noticed that when collecting ssid, the nano will pickup 5ghz ssid but that is it. You cannot deauth or anything to the 5ghz ssid.

The WiFi Pineapple NANO is unable to scan 5Ghz ranges.

Yea cant scan for 5ghz but it always picks up my home 5ghz ssid when I open my laptop from sleep, and sometimes when I start using my phone after sitting for while (1hr or so). I also get the neighbors a lot also. They made it obvious which is 5 and 2.4 so its easy to tell. But I've always wondered why.

Hey.. does that mean there is a whole new compatibility research i'm going to get into if I want to enable my PinaAP NANO to scan 5 Ghz band?..
