UNABLE TO EDIT MEMOREX TRAVEL DRIVE AUTORUN BY FLAHING DRIVE

I am trying to make my memorex 1gb travel drive autorun switch blade by substituting the memorex autorun in the virtual with the proggies autorun....the problem is that when i try flashing the drive by runnig the u3 updater and being able to substitute my own iso by doing this, i run updaterCore and recieve an error message that no u3 smart drive was found. The real problem i am having is that i want to make the program run by itself instead of me having to double click on the thumbdrive itself...but i am unable to write the autorun to the virtual u3 cdrom If any one has any suggestions please reply
