n00bie
I have Pineapple Nano up and running on Windows 8.1, can access the web gui and have downloaded modules . When I open putty (default settings) to try and ssh using 172.26.42.42 (also tried 172.26.42.1) but just get 'network error : connection timeout' . Is there a setting I need to enable before this is allowed ? Many thanks.
b0N3z
This post belongs in the Nano threads, but the user is root and the ip is 172.16.42.1 ssh root@172.16.42.1 enter your password and thats it.
greasystrangler
I had the same problem - make sure you are on the Pineapple wifi network , you will then be able to access SSH . Strangely you can access the Web GUI being on the other network . I have ran on Windows and Kali - Kali requires the 'wp6.sh' script to be run everytime , Windows will not mount the SD card , unless you remove and re-insert . b0N3z
no matter how you connect to the pineapple you should be able to ssh into the NANO. The sd card thing idk what your talking about there
greasystrangler
Thanks b0N3z , appreciate your feedback . I inserted an SD card into the NANO as I had run out of storage , I followed a guide on this forum of how to 'perm' mount the card , but when I disconnect/reconnect the NANO , the SD card is not recognised , until I remove/insert .
