I just explained it step by step over SSH above.

I did everything but I do not see the module after cloning the module that I do afterwards

Use HTTPS instead of SSH.

git clone https://github.com/adde88/ManaToolkit.git

Ohh, i wrote the "git@github.com"-part as it was the one i last used on my Tetra, and remembered out of my head.?
But yeah, HTTPS should definetly work. ?

You're getting some error messages while trying to change the directory to /pineapple/modules/
It looks like that directory doesn't exist... Which is VERY strange.

ssh root@pineapple
opkg update && opkg install git git-http
cd /pineapple/modules/
git clone https://www.github.com/adde88/ManaToolkit

It's that easy.
But i'll see if i can alter the INSTALL.sh script (originally intended to install the packages, to also install the module (perhaps by choice))

Parece que el directorio no existe ... Lo cual es MUY extraño.

Es fácil.
Pero veré si puedo alterar el guión INSTALL.sh (también disponible para instalar los paquetes, también para instalar el módulo)

It would be a success if you did it brother. I have not yet been able to install it correctly,

Well, you could transfer the files using Filezilla as you previously did. But as i said, the files then looses their setting of being executable.

To make the files executable again you can do this:

ssh root@pineapple
cd /pineapple/modules/ManaToolkit/scripts/
chmod +x *

This should fix your problem with getting "Install Dependencies" done.

Just a friendly heads up: To get anything out of this toolkit and/or module it requires a bit of knowledge, especially when it comes to handling Linux systems.
It's still in development. But if you know what you're doing, you can easily do EAP attacks with these devices.
I'm hoping that i one day can make that easier for the users to do. But i'm not sure if that's really feasible, as many networks requires tinkering with configs and settings to customise the attack.
Though, Hak5 did great on their latest update, opening for Enterprise Network attacks in a easy way. :)

Hello,

i just installed the Mana-Toolkit but i noticed that my Android Tablet i used for testing stated, that the AP 'Mana' does not have internet connection.
If i ignore that message i am still not able to load a https-Site (used www.heise.de) because it states the connection is not trustworthy.

Do i have to take additional steps (maybe generating certificates?)

I suppose the connection sharing may be broken too, because i get errors with http-Sites.
Can someone give me a hint how to fix this?

How can i configure it to respond to all searching AP-Beacons from Clients like in PineAP?

@Colincolin343

Are you sure your /sd directory is mounted properly?

What output do you get when using "mount"?

And please paste the output of /etc/fstab

It could be that your PATH variable is bugged. The launch-mana script gets installed to either /usr/sbin or /sd/usr/sbin

If PATH doesn't check /sd/usr/sbin it won't find the script. But it's working flawlessly on both my Tetra and Nano.

Wow your fast thanks. Currently at school once I'm done I will tell you that right away. However i winscp into the pineapple and check the path where the script was supposed to be because everytime I launch mana it says can't be found.

But if it is mounted correctly are my steps correct?

1. Go to pineapple web interface set up wlan2 for wifi then format USB and choose the sd card. (Directly in the pineapple)

2. Ssh into it with putty or terminal

3. Opkg update right away

4. The wget command that's at the homepage

5. Install depends command right below the wget command

6. Launch-mana

7. Done

I also cant reformat the sd now this is the output now. it says its reformatting but its been like 20 mins...Its unrespoive to my sd card reader and my phone. USB adapter coming in on thursday but i dont think it will make a difference if my phone cant even read it

Well, you're main-problem is that /sd is not mounted properly.
Also /etc/fstab is a file, not a directory. (Use "cat /etc/fstab" to read it)
When you get /sd mounted properly, all you have to do is to launch the INSTALL.sh script.
And then "install-mana-depends".

You don't have to "opkg update" before launching my installer, it takes care of doing that.
It's simply two steps. INSTALL.sh -> install-mana-depends

But you need to get /sd sorted out first.

Ok, my sd card can't be read my windows or linux and no of my readers can read any of my sd cards I have 3 but they all are unresponsive. I tried a sd adapter in my laptop but it won't read and no letters get assigned at all. Is this a hardware problem or the sd? I just bought it too I have no idea how it could break just like that. Or do you think the adapters are just broken and usb adapter will work and show my sd card. I got no clue where to start and I looked up a bunch of useless stuff. Hopefully the USB works and it's just because lsusb can't show sd cards

Thoughts?

I'm not sure. Windows should detect any hardware being connected, like the "sound you get when you connect something to it.

What device are you trying to use?

You could try pasting me the output of "dmesg" a couple of seconds after inserting the device.

For the Nano I recommend using a normal USB flash drive mounted as /sd, instead of the SD-card. As it seems to have alot of issues with SD-cards.

Guides for doing so can be found in this thread, as alot of users are doing it.

PS. Use pastebin.org for your dmesg output, it's alot of stuff being outputted.

I am now going to be using USBs and i got thid usb hub as well which looked like a steal

https://www.amazon.com/UGREEN-Splitter-Windows-Linux-systems/dp/B00LN67RU6/ref=sr_1_10_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1536806762&sr=8-10-spons&keywords=round+usb+hub&psc=1#customerReviews

Will this work for on my pineapple if i plug it into the back of it? I just dont want to damage the pineapple if too much power is being taken from it and it dies. Is this model safe or will it require me to cut wires?

I got a new microsd and this is my config file or fstab

config global
    option anon_swap '0'
    option anon_mount '0'
    option auto_swap '1'
    option auto_mount '1'
    option delay_root '5'
    option check_fs '0'

config mount
    option target '/sd1'
    option device '/dev/sdcard/sd1'
    option fstype 'auto'
    option options 'rw,sync'
    option enabled '1'

I sshed through putty and did the wget command it loaded and gave me those errors you told us to ignore

(at: can't open '/usr/lib/opkg/info/sslsplit.list': No such file or directory
Configuring hostapd-mana.
grep: /usr/lib/opkg/info/hostapd-mana.control: No such file or directory
cat: can't open '/usr/lib/opkg/info/hostapd-mana.list': No such file or director y
Configuring asleap.

cat: can't open '/usr/lib/opkg/info/asleap.list': No such file or directory
bash: line 39: /etc/init.d/stunnel: No such file or directory).

I then did the install-mana-depends and it says that the command is unknown or cant be performed like its non-existent. I then tried the command launch-mana and it says the exact thing like its not existent. There are no files in the launch-mana btw its empty. But this is file is not empty (picture). I just have confused on how it will just 'work' if those commands wont launch for me.

SD card btw and it WORKS this time. yay

Your fstab file is not correct. It's trying to mount the normal SD-card (builtin) to the wrong directory. (/sd1)

The directory should be /sd and the device should NOT be /dev/sdcard/sd1 if using a usb flash drive.
But normally something like /dev/sdb1 or /dev/sda1. (Depends on how you've formatted the drive and what device ID it registers with (sda, sdb))

Ok but it looks like my sd card is mounted see.. Its sd1 and has 128gb(is a microsd card, i am giving it one more chance). Then i run your command (i dont change anything in your command, no changes at all i just run it.) and it says it install but the commands never work after i installed it. I am formatting it with the wifi pineapple usb command on the web interface.

My new error when i install the command:

@Zylla, Hello! ManaToolkit can not install yet. Please, tell me, when you update dependencies?

The module does not work with the latest firmware, yet.
I haven't had much time to work on it. But it's coming.

However, the hostapd-mana package does work, so if you're experienced with using hostapd-mana, you can use it manually in the terminal.
