NotPike
Has anyone else played this game? If you like terminal based puzzle games with an interesting story this might be the game for you. Catchy sound track too. http://www.hacknet-os.com/
0phoi5
I enjoy HackNet. Closest you can get to a proper Shell terminal within a game.
neoknight88
Hacknet is pretty cool. I also like Hacker Evolution, and TIS-100. I think that TIS-100 is a great assembly based sim.

Decoy
else Heart.Break() http://elseheartbreak.com/ There was another great game I played at Pax East last year that was a lot of fun - but can't remember the name of it for the life of me. You actually played a government agent trying to catch darknet criminals. Great idea, and the terminal commands used in-game are legit.

Decoy
A little corny, but I'm partial to the point/click style. Brings me back to the good old LucasArts and Sierra days of my childhood, lol.
neoknight88
I just found out about Shenzhen I/O. You design the circuit, then write the assembly to create your own computer inside your computer. Something something meta...http://store.steampowered.com/app/504210/

HeavyVin
I just finished the main game and started the DLC and I love it. The IRC logs have some funny dialogue and I loved the surprise audio file. I really loved the part of the game that the game didn't work. (can't say more without spoiling but yes it was part of the story) Also, some unlisted Unix commands work in game. The whole thing is a masterpiece. PoSHMagiC0de
I love hacknet. Been playing hackmud too. Hackmud is multiplayer where you can actually write scripts. I feel the game is sitting on top of a mongodb database. Just the way the commands work.
