WaterRide
We know about the rubber ducky's sold at Hak5, I was at SpyMaster, off Oxford St and they were selling 1 rubber ducky for £120. What do you think is the reason for their huge mark up? Is there USBs preconfigured to work from get-go?
Guest
I think the reason is they are trying to make more profit (if it's the same ducky, maybe this one is dipped in gold). Eventually someone will come along and pay this price. I don't think there is such a thing as a preconfigured ducky. Because configuration is very personal and depends on what youwant it to do, and also depends on the exact OS and input language of the target system. WaterRide
Thanks for the response. That's a certainly a huge mark up from them for essentially the same device but I shouldn't be surprised as lots of companies do it. The only reason I would have paid extra was because it was in the and I would have had it there and then to use immediately rather than wait for delivery. I think I will order it via Hak5 site lol
Mr-Protocol
I'm not sure they are authorized to re-sell (or if anyone is for that matter). So if you buy second hand, I wouldn't expect any sort of warranty.
