Error connecting. Please check your WiFi Pineapple's internet connection.

Good morning all

I recently purchased a pineapple mark V but it seems i'm having issues sharing the network.

1) i connected the pineapple via Ethernet to my Windows 7 laptop.

2) i connected the laptop via wi-fi to my home router.

3) i followed the instructions to share the network on the pineapple.

4) when i browse to http://172.16.42.1:1471 i successfully  have the menu.

5) but when i try to upgrade the pineapple or to view the internet ip address i get :

Error connecting. Please check your WiFi Pineapple's internet connection.

What am I doing wrong?
