Wolvee
Hello all, I thought you guys might like to see this. I woke up today to the sound of a drone flying around my house and a couple of people in my yard. I have a Dominion power easement going across the back of my property in Williamsburg, Va. and they were here taking a look at the power lines. They told me Dominion (Probably a 3rd party contractor Company) just bought these to replace the helicopters they used to use. They didn't seem very happy with it and wished it had more power or ability. ..I'm not sure of the details of what they want. It took two controllers to fly the copter and control the Camera. Sorry I don't have more details or a video of it in flight. Looks pretty fancy to me, I wonder what something like that costs?

Wolvee
I love and hate the idea that we can look up that kind of information, lol. I definitely don't agree with federal registration.
badbass
If they could inspect the transformers on the poles they need to get a contract with the city I live in. One blew up had a cable slam through an awning. My power went out. I had to come in on my day off to verify the equipment came back up. This sounds like a good idea. badbass
The businesses on our side of the street did not make any money that night. When you own a bar and have to close on a Saturday night. It sucks.
