reaver pro

hi all

new to the forum

and have been looking for a few weeks now

i have a reaver pro which now seems to be a dead project

cant even access the forum

so was wandering can this item be used for anything else

made back into a router,or into a pineapple

it seems based on the hornet ub x2

so cant it just be a hornet

i hate waste and could allways do with an extra router

a pineapple would be better but i cant get that to work

please let me know

hi all

just an update i managed to get open wrt onto the router/reaver openwrt-ar71xx-generic-hornet-ub-x2-squashfs-sysupgrade

but it will not accept upgrade.bin for pineapple any suggestions greatfully recieved

and i cant seem to find any wireless networks so think something may not be right

it has a 5db ariel and a windsurfer

The Pineapple firmware is not compatible with that board. The flash size is different.

but cant that be altered or a full dump of the flash ic can be taken and wrote to the first half of the reaver ic

is there a way to make it compatible

I'm not saying it's impossible, just that the images are not compatible. If you want to try to get it to work, that's fine, but I do not have a guide for you.

hi mate if i swapped out the flash ic for the 8m 1 would that fix the compatability
