Full filesystem, best way to clean it up?

Recommended Posts

Hi, I think the filesystem is full cause

Can't clear SSID Pool, I can clear but after refresh the list is not gone;

I can't remove Modules, he says he does but after plug off/in they not really gone.
I can't save PineAP Settings as a config default.

Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on

rootfs 2.3M 2.2M 52.0K 98% /
/dev/root 12.5M 12.5M 0 100% /rom
tmpfs 29.9M 100.0K 29.8M 0% /tmp
/dev/mtdblock3 2.3M 2.2M 52.0K 98% /overlay
overlayfs:/overlay 2.3M 2.2M 52.0K 98% /
tmpfs 512.0K 0 512.0K 0% /dev

What's the best way to resolve this and if it's the filesystem, what's the best way to clean it up?

So probably not the smartest idea but I wrote a logging thing on my landing page which saved to a file. I now realize that I should have made it write the file onto the SD card so now I'm at this:

Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on
rootfs 2.3M 356.0K 1.9M 15% /
/dev/root 12.5M 12.5M 0 100% /rom
tmpfs 29.9M 96.0K 29.8M 0% /tmp
/dev/mtdblock3 2.3M 356.0K 1.9M 15% /overlay
overlayfs:/overlay 2.3M 356.0K 1.9M 15% /
tmpfs 512.0K 0 512.0K 0% /dev
/dev/sdcard/sd1 2.6G 13.8M 2.5G 1% /sd

Anyway I can clear up space available through /dev/root?

I deleted the txt file but it still doesn't seem to clear up. And on another note, this made my pineapple into read only mode but I fixed that with: mount -o remount,rw /rom /

Thanks.

Hi Pinguin,

You will need to factory reset your WiFi Pineapple NANO.

This can be done by holding down the reset button for 6 or more seconds.

Do this while the WiFi Pineapple NANO is booted up.

Best Regards,

Sebkinne

my /dev/root is also used 100%. Isn't it supposed to be like that?!

Filesystem Size Used Available Use% Mounted on

rootfs 2.3M 364.0K 1.9M 16% /
/dev/root 12.5M 12.5M 0 100% /rom
tmpfs 29.9M 236.0K 29.7M 1% /tmp
/dev/mtdblock3 2.3M 364.0K 1.9M 16% /overlay
overlayfs:/overlay 2.3M 364.0K 1.9M 16% /
tmpfs 512.0K 0 512.0K 0% /dev
/dev/sdcard/sd1 6.2G 24.5M 5.9G 0% /sd
