PK_420
Hello there,So far I have tried multiple configurations and I don't seem to be able to save the reports to my SD card,I have set the reports to be produced every hour and to include everything, see screenshot below.. Also, the reporting doesn't seem to clear the PineAP logs... I don't know if this is a known issue for other people so I thought of discussing it here before posting anything on the bugs tracking page, Next step for me was to try a factory reset to see if it helps...
hackattack
Try manually saving a log under Logging>Location, put it to "/sd/something.txt" I haven't tested whether that just changes the location or actually saves the log, it takes long enough that I think it saves a log. Then when you reboot that will be the default location to save.

Nice meme theme for your browser. Try clearing cache before factory resetting.
PK_420
Try manually saving a log under Logging>Location, put it to "/sd/something.txt" I haven't tested whether that just changes the location or actually saves the log, it takes long enough that I think it saves a log. Then when you reboot that will be the default location to save. I tried that, it works, the pineap.log gets saved in a folder on the SD card, the problem is when I set up the reports to be generated every hour, as on my previous screenshot, it doesn't generate the report hourly. I have left the pineapple run overnight, it's been more than 12 hours running with pineAP logging probes and associations, I woke up this morning and I had only one file under the "/sd/wifipineapple_reports" named : WiFi_Pineapple_Report_2016-01-15-00-00.tar.gz . Opening that archive revealed only a folder containing two files, here are the contents: probing_clients.csv 0 site_survey 4C:8B:30:2B:0D:DD ESSID: TELUSMarioD Security: WPA2 Signal: 52% Channel: 1 Clients: No clients detected 4C:8B:30:33:B5:05 ESSID: TELUS5269 Security: WPA2 Signal: 34% Channel: 1 Clients: No clients detected A8:39:44:48:8C:68 ESSID: TELUS9821 Security: WPA2 Signal: 64% Channel: 1 Clients: 04:DB:56:A7:68:50 20:76:00:06:59:4C ESSID: TELUS0563 Security: WPA2 Signal: 40% Channel: 1 Clients: No clients detected A8:39:44:42:43:08 ESSID: TELUS3288 Security: WPA2 Signal: 28% Channel: 1 Clients: No clients detected 00:26:B8:F4:D2:2C ESSID: TELUS8367 Security: WPA2 Signal: 52% Channel: 1 Clients: No clients detected 00:1E:E5:66:C8:AB ESSID: Security: WPA2 Signal: 96% Channel: 1 Clients: E8:AB:FA:04:62:6D 4C:8B:30:28:24:B5 ESSID: TELUS2931 Security: WPA2 Signal: 56% Channel: 6 Clients: No clients detected 00:26:5A:CA:CF:79 ESSID: agathe Security: WEP Signal: 22% Channel: 6 Clients: 96:10:3E:A8:08:24 C4:6E:1F:26:E6:3D 4C:8B:30:4C:28:B5 ESSID: TELUS4171 Security: WPA2 Signal: 36% Channel: 6 Clients: No clients detected 94:10:3E:A8:08:24 ESSID: agathe Security: WEP Signal: 80% Channel: 6 Clients: No clients detected 4C:8B:30:10:BF:94 ESSID: TELUS2689 Security: WPA2 Signal: 78% Channel: 6 Clients: A8:96:8A:85:5A:80 00:25:9C:D5:20:19 ESSID: UTILISATEUR-PC_Network Security: WPA2 Signal: 46% Channel: 6 Clients: No clients detected 10:9F:A9:5E:9E:7C ESSID: TELUS1129 Security: WPA2 Signal: 30% Channel: 6 Clients: No clients detected 5C:8F:E0:05:07:E7 ESSID: C9C14D733B11 Security: WPA2 Signal: 28% Channel: 6 Clients: No clients detected D8:EB:97:B1:69:68 ESSID: Cinthia Security: WPA2 Signal: 36% Channel: 11 Clients: No clients detected 00:26:B8:F3:EC:C4 ESSID: TELUS2978 Security: WPA2 Signal: 30% Channel: 11 Clients: No clients detected E8:CC:18:F6:24:7C ESSID: Proulx-24 Security: WPA2 Signal: 26% Channel: 1 Clients: No clients detected 84:C9:B2:5D:8A:6E ESSID: fastef Security: WEP Signal: 36% Channel: 5 Clients: No clients detected A8:39:44:45:B8:40 ESSID: TELUS8187 Security: WPA2 Signal: 36% Channel: 6 Clients: No clients detected 00:27:22:1C:1E:58 ESSID: ZAPBSL-7768 Security: Open Signal: 36% Channel: 11 Clients: No clients detected So, to recap, the reports aren't done hourly as expected, the report doesn't have all the content I requested in, the logs aren't cleared after the report is made. I tried clearing cache on my browser and even tried a different browser, I see my settings getting saved in the UI, the logging feature seems a tidy bit messed up though... it won't do what I ask it to... PK_420
Hi there... I found out this is still happening in 1.0.5, dunno if I'm setting up things wrong here... No reports are generated, even tried setting up 'Send Report via email' option, still no luck, The only 'report' I get is one at midnight, ending in '00-00.tar.gz', but it still contains the wrong data as mentioned in the previous post. Has anyone managed to set up the reports and been able to generate a valid one?
