hakat Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Hi, Just received my first few ducks. I pulled some payloads to do initial tests with. None of the scripts with GUI r (as a requirement) are working because the Run window isn't ever opening. I saw another thread with this exact issue, but I don't see any suggestions on how to troubleshoot. OS - Win10 and Win7 GUI r - is not opening Win+R (Run.. window) Quote
White Light Posted January 9, 2016 Posted January 9, 2016 What are the exact scripts you're trying to run? Keep in mind, the OS takes a bit of time before it'll accept key input when you first plug it in, so it's good to add a 2-4s delay at the top. Quote
hakat Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 It should almost be in the faq. A few of the scripts pulled and encoded start without delays. This results in insta-fail. Not sure why an initial delay isn't standard. Thanks for the reply. Quote
Solution White Light Posted January 9, 2016 Solution Posted January 9, 2016 Is it typing anything and just failing GUI r or is it everything? Try opening a notepad window to see what is actually being typed. Quote
hakat Posted January 9, 2016 Author Posted January 9, 2016 Yes, definitely user error. I used a modified "3 line wget" payload and it doesn't start with a delay, so the OS authentication was taking longer than the payload was to initiate, basically skipping the GUI r command all together. I turned on a logger to capture the input and the answer was blatant. Thanks for the help. Quote
