Hello,

I have recently been turned on to the show and so I decided to create an account on the forums so that I can be more involved.

I am the IT admin for a datacenter that uses a whole lot of vmware's "fault tolerance", and so I am looking into open source, free alternatives to this as vmware licensing is quite ridiculous imho.

When I watched the proxmox and the xenserver episodes, it really got me thinking about ESXi/vsphere alternatives.

What would you guys recommend and why? Keep in mind that I am a fan of linux, but am forced into deploying mostly M$ windows vms.

Thanks,

PS: I am trying out Proxmox on an old box right now to see how I like it.
