cyberguard Posted December 1, 2015 Share Posted December 1, 2015 I need help installing the AWUS036AC wifi adapter on my pineapple. lsusb returns it as Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8812AU 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN Adapter but it doesn't show up in iwconfig or ifconfig. wifi detect > /etc/config/wireless doesn't help or detect it. I use the AWUS036NEH and I haven't had any issues. NEH isn't the same as the AC version from what I've seen. It isn't in the web interface ofc. May need a powered usb hub to support it if so, that'd be the first place i would start probably. If you post to that topic Seb will get an alert I think and he may be able to provide you with more information on what is needed from there.
