Mr_Mischif
I'm thinking it's an API problem, but I was working on a school computer in Publisher, and I got this error. What says you?
cooper
What makes you think it's an error rather than an informational pop-up about something having completed or whatever?
uber_tom
Changed the language, new font, installed some i.e language 'required' to view your favourite pron/warez site. I give up. This is a test right?
Mr_Mischif
What makes you think it's an error rather than an informational pop-up about something having completed or whatever? Because I wasn't working on a Application Damso.acl, and it's IN CHINESE. I have no idea how to read, write, or speak Chinese.
moonlit
isn't .acl something to do with Windows user accounts? Edit: No, it's nothing to do with that apparently but it's an Office auto-correct list... so it's the list Office reads from to correct your mis-spelt words I should imagine. jool
It could be the classical problem with the automatic detection of wide characters, by random the message box might have a few characters that could be interpreted as being wide characters and then it converts the rest as well. You can try this in notepad too by creating a new file and put any characters in a certain pattern. The pattern is 4, 3, 3 and 5, e.g abcd efg hij klmno. Then save the file, close and open it in again.
