Run the script with root permissions and disable network manager to avoid conflicts.

is eth0 up? does eth0 exist? The script is telling you that eth0 doesn't exist.

Here's your problem. From the command line run,

/etc/init.d/network-manager stop

Then run,

ifconfig eth0 172.16.42.42/24

Now run your wp5.sh script, then try connecting.

Because you don't have wlan0 but wlan1, please make sure you specify eth0 and wlan1 instead of eth0 and wlan0.

You can reset the WiFi Pineapple MKV's password by performing either a factory reset or following the "Unbricking a bricked WiFi Pineapple MKV".
