jool Posted November 20, 2006 Share Posted November 20, 2006 Actionscript is the scripting language used in flash files so you cant really use it without the original flash project file. There are tools to rip out the script from published flash files, let you edit it and then insert it again but those rarely work well. Just reading the extracted source is better if you want to find out what it does and how it does it from looking at the source. If you want to learn how to code it you are probably best of by getting Macromedia Flash (or whatever it is called this week) or some cheaper option and just hack away.
