How to change the time on Pineapple IV 2.8 ?

I am wondering how to change the system on Pineapple IV.

When I typed

date

command, it shows 1970, and then I tried

date -s

command to change the system time, but it says invalid date.

So how can I change the system time on Pineapple?

You'll want to use NTP if at all possible. If you must use date, the call, as per the man page for date, is like this:

date -s [MMDDhhmm[[CC]YY][.ss]]

So a bit of a funky datetime format, based on the concept that you rarely want to change the year and the seconds.
