sclements Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Hello all! I'm new to the forums and the Pineapples in general so please forgive me if I'm asking in the wrong place. I have a Mark V that does not show a link on my clients ethernet adapter when booting 'regularly' and it's LEDs are stuck at solid green and blue. I am able to do an image recovery on the unit (complete with navigating to the page and uploading the file) using directions at https://www.wifipineapple.com/?flashing but when the recovery completes, the unit always goes back to green/blue solid lights. I've tried recovering multiple times using two different flash cards but the unit never brings up an ethernet link during 'regular boot'. Am I doing something wildly obviously incorrect here? Any guidance you could provide would be greatly appreciated! -Sam Quote
zarbam Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Are you using the correct ac adapter? When I first got the pineapple, I was using the charger for the battery pack and it caused this issue. Quote
sclements Posted July 21, 2015 Author Posted July 21, 2015 Good call! I didn't catch that. Now that I'm on the battery pack it's working as expected. Thanks for the pointer! It's odd that it boots on the AC adapter fine for recovery mode but not for regular booting... -Sam Quote
