BobbyBackwards
I'm wondering if there are any better options of ISPs than ATT and Comcast in the east bay?
cooper
Define 'better'. And I know nothing of the US but it might help to name a city.
digip
Assuming San Francisco, I live in NJ, so we only have like 3 options, Comcast, Fios and Dish network, with a few small DSL in certain city areas which I think is also verizon based. Try Yelp though, might find more options near you: http://www.yelp.com/search?find_desc=broadband&find_loc=San+Francisco+Bay+Area%2C+CA&ns=
antidumb
I'm using Astound Wave Broadband and I'm generally happy. Much less expensive than Comcast in the long run. Comcast may have promos that save you some money up front, but I'm paying $55 for a 110/10 connection at home. Speed is consistent as well.
