toughbunny Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Hi all, Basically, I have a 16 Gb USB 2.0 stick. How can I make it as dangerous as possible, for fun? Any suggestions welcome, even if they seem obvious they probably won't be to me. Thanks! Quote
fugu Posted April 13, 2015 Posted April 13, 2015 Whittle the tip till its a sharp pointy stick. Quote
toughbunny Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 Thanks for the tip (pun intended), but I was actually wondering about hacking. Quote
fugu Posted April 14, 2015 Posted April 14, 2015 I would look into if the drive has firmware available for download. Start there. Quote
toughbunny Posted April 14, 2015 Author Posted April 14, 2015 I looked for firmware and found none of interest for my lexar model usb. I did find stuff about BadUSB(https://github.com/adamcaudill/Psychson) which looks fun but I have no idea how to implement it so any help would be nice (looks like its for a different model of usb?). Any ideas other than firmware? Thanks! Quote
s1tl Posted May 3, 2015 Posted May 3, 2015 I always have a kali live usb in my bag to boot of just in case. Quote
digip Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Dangerous as possible, for funm and hacking. Hmm. Tape it to the end of hatchet, throw it at targets made of old computers, see if you can place the USB into the USB slot without hurting anyone. Fun shall be had, danger is at hand, hacking things to pieces. Coming this Sunday, Sunday Sunday, to an emergency room near you! Quote
