No access points created with PineAP/Karma

Hi Everyone! Got my Pineapple a few weeks ago and I'm still trying to learn how it all comes together.

I need help with PineAP/Karma. Here is the situation: I have PineAP and all of its components running. There are over a dozen SSIDs in my "PineAP Configuration/SSID Management" section. In the Karma logs I can see activity and probe requests, however when checking available WiFi access points, I see none of the access points listed in "PineAP Configuration/SSID Management" section. I have Dogma turned out, so that should broadcast the access points to everyone.

* So why am I not detecting any spoofed access points?

Since I haven't had any associated clients, I tried to connect my iPhone to one of the access points on management list, and it could not find the network. I'm right next to the Pineapple, so it should be detecting and connecting immediately.

---

To get a better understanding, I SSHed into the pineapple and checked "/tmp/karma-phy0.log" to see what PineAP is doing. I'm seeing probes like this:

Mar 19 13:50:32 KARMA: Probe Request from 60:XXXX for SSID 'NETGEAR'

But then I'm also seeing plenty of these:

Mar 19 13:50:32 handle_probe_req: send failed

* Any ideas anyone?

Thanks!

Ok, so after picking on this a bit more - somehow or other - the access points created by Pineapple showed up, but now the issue is that when I try to connect to one of the access points, the connection does not establish.

I checked the logs and I see my own request trying to connect to Bob's Wifi Network, but the response to the request is failing:

Mar 20 00:17:48 KARMA: Probe Request from 60:f8:3d:h9:65:5a for SSID 'Bob's Wi-Fi Network'
Mar 20 00:17:48 handle_probe_req: send failed
Mar 20 00:17:51 handle_probe_req: send failed
Mar 20 00:17:51 handle_probe_req: send failed
Mar 20 00:17:51 handle_probe_req: send failed
Mar 20 00:17:51 handle_probe_req: send failed
Mar 20 00:17:51 handle_probe_req: send failed
Mar 20 00:17:51 handle_probe_req: send failed

---

* So, what can I do now?

Ok, I'm going to flash the pineapple again tonight, and start over with the basics. Also, I'm going to switch the antennas in case that makes any difference. Afterwards, if I still can't connect then I will email you for help. Thank you!

Hello! I am having this same issue. I cannot connect to the spoofed AP's that are broadcasted by the wifi pineapple. Am I doing something wrong?

Edit: I have fixed this issue after restoring system defaults. I don't know why this worked or what I screwed up while using the MkV before this issue. When I had this issue my Mk5 was recently updated to the latest firmware and I had no infusions installed/running.
