LeetNoob
So what do we make of: Economic Left/Right: -6.00 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -3.69 According to the chart, that puts me approximately where Ghandi is. Knowing me, I find that somewhat...well...suspect.
cooper
It's a sad, sad day when people are under the impression that this is democracy at work. We've got an election coming up here in about 3 weeks too. You know how many parties we get to choose from? Twelve. Of those twelve 5 stand a decent chance to become part of the inevitable coalition government. And for those of us uncaring enough to not even bother to read the party programs there's an independant website that has a 30 question form to fill out which asks questions on which the programs of the various parties differ the most, and based on that you get a pretty clear picture of what party you should vote for as they most represent your ideas on those issues. Obviously, it pays to click on as the party I agreed with on most points I disagreed with on a couple that I considered to be pivotal... :P P.S.: My political compass Economic Left/Right: -5.13 Social Libertarian/Authoritarian: -4.

UsernameDisplaynameLame
It's a sad, sad day when people are under the impression that this is democracy at work. Living in a society where: * Stealing from the poor to make the rich richer * Red carpet celebrities are more important than the poor and hungry * Government agencies decieve their own people "for the own benefit" That is what democracy is all about isn't it? cooper
No, except for the center one, which I would characterise as a social issue unrelated to democracy, the issues you post, I feel, have more to do with corruption. Check out the Corruption Index by Transparancy International.
