Hi all, I made a rather clumsy mistake. I used my usb cord that has the power ( red wire ) still attached while my 12v barreljack ac adapter was still plugged in. My usb hub is 5v 2A powered. When I unplugged the pineapple ac adapter, I noticed that the pineapple was still being being powered via usb... Now while everything seems to be properly operating on the pineapple, I worry I might have done permanent damage. Any tests or benchmarks I can run?

also id like to note, as I've posted in the past, I don't think my pineapple has ever functioned the way it should of since I've taken it out of the box. in the sense that even with an external USB rtl8187 would only reach about 4mb max on a 30mb network. as goes with the internal rtl8187. And thays where the powered usb hib came into play. 4 days ago bought the thing to see if it was just a power issue with the external wifi, nope, remained the same. So in a wifi benchmarking sense, those numbers are all still remaining the same

See this thread: https://forums.hak5.org/index.php?/topic/32638-supported-high-throughput-client-mode-radios/?p=251465. You're not the only one. We should file a bug report or something.
