alright, another question. i got this ol'd device popping up in ifconfig wlan0-1. whats its purpose?

its obviously a branch from the wlan0 iface, but for what reasons?

lo        no wireless extensions.

br-lan    no wireless extensions.

is it to have an open AP so karma / pineAP work as supposed to, while keeping an a secured AP?
