ok i'll be as nice as i can.

step one: connect to pineapple, set up client mode in order to provide internet access to clients.

step two: get people to connect by using PineAP

Step three: Run the infusion of your choice. search forums, youtube, pineapple university. there is a ton of info on how to use the infusions.

some infusions require a little work, some work with just a push of a button.

step four: Enjoy.

***remember no attack is going to work 100% of the time.

Step effing infinity: Do your own research before asking questions. I rarely say this because i know the amount of info can be over whelming but for your question, it definitely applies. There is literally tons of info on how to get started with the wifi pineapple

Stanly,

Just keep in mind that sometimes the question has to be pretty specific because just asking how i can do a MITM is vague.

Once you have your pineapple deployed and people connect to your network, well you have MITM'ed them. You own the network, thus you can then perform any activity you wish. The infusions are tools that can be used now that you are in the middle.

Also, remember the OSI Model and layers. If your testing scope includes compromising an SSL connection, well this is a MITM at a different layer in the OSI model than just the attack you are performing on the network itself.

Hope this helps, but specifically if your goal is to get your testing devices to connect to your device, then this can be accomplished using the techniques that bytedeez talked about.

Thanks alot for a detailed answer, when i was talking about doing the mitm i was thinking more of something like this:

when someone connects to my device and eg. logs on facebook they send the packages through the pineaple, and i was wondering how i could be able to look at those packages. For example their name and password.

FYI: im not the best at pineaple yet so excuse my lack of information and also sorry for misspellings

Again, thanks for your time
