alex0648 Posted September 16, 2014 Share Posted September 16, 2014 Hey, Basically I am wanting to use Kali for some "stuff" and have got a desktop pc with an Asus Wifi Adapter plugged into a PCI slot. I have tried editing my network connections in Kali but when adding a wireless network there are a few options I am unsure of and not sure if it is the right path to enable internet. I was able to use wireless in the virtual machine but didn't get too far as WiFi cracking programs require a USB dongle instead of inbuilt, so I tried the Live USB method but have ran into this problem. alex0648 Posted September 16, 2014 Author Share Posted September 16, 2014 when typing in lspci into terminal for network controller I am given "Broadcom Corporation Device 43a0 (rev 03)" Im guessing it isn't detecting it and I need drivers?
