mattjenne
Has anyone considered or tried to sniff the packets from an AMI, AMR or so-called "Smart" meters? Our municipal electric company just installed them here within the last few years. I'm curious as to what kind of data they put out & if there are any privacy concerns. Mind you, I am only talking about reading the data from my meter(s) only, not trying to spoof the signal. I've just ordered my SDR (and Pineapple as well as some other goodies) today, so I can't test anything yet. Just wondering if others tried it or had suggestions. Maybe Snubbs could use this as a segment on the show!
