pg94
My mac is acting up and I don't know if its a virus or something else. Anyone know how I would find out?
barry99705
http://www.bitdefender.com/solutions/virus-scanner-for-mac.html It's most likely something else, unless you pirated ms office or something like that. The only current malware on macs are trojans that you have to give permission to install.
pg94
I don't pirate software, I see it to much of a risk. Thanks for the help, greatly appreciated!
TN.Frank
Next to Linux, OS-X is one of the least Op Systems to pick up a virus. If in doubt you could look around for a free anti-virus program like Avast or AVG and download and install it then run it and that should give you an answer as to weather you've picked something up or not. Kinda like the one I linked to... Also one of the first computer viruses was written for Mac OS! Now you know, and knowing is half the battle.
