I'm looking to buy a WiFi device where I can change the source code to change other parts of WiFi. Is that possible on Pineapple WiFi? Look at the wiki for the wifi pineapple, one of the pages there is a build guide that should tell you plenty, but it helps if you're familiar with (cross-compiling) OpenWRT.
