grayaway Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 I have just started to explore SDR and trying to build a scanner as described in www.instructables.com/.../How-to-Make-a-19-Police-Radio. I purchased a NooElec RS20T SDR & DVB-T USB stick. I loaded the SDRSharp software and the updated dll. The instructions indicated that I should be able to pick up WFM signals. Needles to say nothing but static. while reading through the forum, I read the the blue light on the stick should on. It's not. I am running an Window 7 base system. I check the usb drive in device manager and it indicates that the driver is working. I am looking at defective USB or should I look at something else before sending it back? Thanks Quote
dougggg Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 The blue light should turn on when plugged in and you should have a usb device in the device manager for bulk-in interface (interface 0). if that is there the drivers are probably good. you could try reinstalling the drivers Quote
