aidenatt Posted May 20, 2014 Share Posted May 20, 2014 Hey everyone, I was just looking for a yagi antenna to have some fun with, and found THIS 20dBi one on eBay for just $8. With such a low price, I'm a little worried about quality. Have any of you guys used cheap Yagi antennas? If so, did they work well? My findings are less scientific but when I put mine onto my Alfa AWUS051NH with airmon-ng it made no noticable improvement over the standard omni antenna that came with it. I once counted 87 Wifi signals using this antenna and an Alfa "N" network to usb device mounted in a 3in PVC tube .... Very directional.... (P.S.
